Zach grew up in the Washington, D.C., area and has been following politics since he was a kid. In fact, the first time he skipped school was to head to the Senate chamber to observe a cabinet member’s confirmation vote. Zach graduated from The George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in political communication, where he worked as a reporter an editor at GW’s student-run newspaper, The GW Hatchet.
